The Mexican-American singer has now spoken on the subject in a six-minute video on Thursday (7 April 2022), claiming that the invasion of privacy has affected her love life and family name.

“I feel sad, disappointed… my soul hurts,” she said.
“Some photos have been circulating with which I have not agreed that they should come out, I feel violated.
I feel violated of the possibility of me having my own privacy and being able to decide about my life, my body, my image.”
Like Lau, she revealed the photos were shared by a member of her circle, stating that “it hurts me to have been disappointed by a person that I, honestly, never thought.”

After the image went viral, Angela also said that she trusted the person who made her feel disappointed, since the images circulated on social media and not only it affected her private life but also in the work sector.
