On August 14, Independence Day, a large crowd gathered in Greater Iqbal Park. Tik Toker Ayesha Ikram arrived with her two colleagues Amir Sohail and Saddam Hussein and started making videos.
Suddenly, a group of bold people attacked the woman and start bullying her. They tore her clothes and roll her in the air. The woman kept asking them to let her go which no one listened to. Al last the woman survived with great difficulty.

Case registered against 400 persons. When the video of the riot went viral on social media, police took action and registered a case against 400 people.
The lawsuit includes provisions for publicly stripping a woman naked and causing a commotion.

Punjab CM issues notice, orders immediate arrest of accused:
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar took notice of the incident and sent the video to the IG and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused.
Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that it was the responsibility of the government to bring justice to women.
