Senior palace advisors want the royal couple to “just become Harry and Meghan.” According to a report, senior palace advisors are whispering that it is time for Prince Harry to give up his address after leaving royal duties last year.
Palace Advisors Want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Give Up Royal Titles:
There is a growing sense of “bewilderment and betrayal” inside the palace after Harry blasted his father, Prince Charles, on the podcast of Dax Shephard, claiming the elder royal had given him a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering.”
Harry also referred to his grandparents – claiming that Charles’ parenting skills reflected his upbringing of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, which sparked particular anger.
One of the advisors told that:
“People are appalled that he could do this to the Queen when the Duke of Edinburgh is barely in his grave,”.
“To drag his grandfather into this is so shocking and disrespectful”.
He also said:
“The Duke of Sussex has now spent a significant amount of time emphasizing that he’s no different to anyone else and attacking the institution which he says has caused him so much pain. There is a growing feeling that if you dislike the institution that much, you shouldn’t have the titles,”.
Another whisper heard from a source:
“They should put the titles into abeyance, so they still exist but are not used, like they agreed to do with their HRHs. They should just become Harry and Meghan. And if they refuse to do that, they have to explain why not.”
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle abandoned their “HRH” titles, His Royal Highness and every Royal Highness, between their separation from the royal family and moving to the United States.
