According to The Independent Urdu, the management of Geo TV has confirmed that anchorperson Hamid Mir will not be able to host Geo TV’s popular program ‘Capital Talk’ indefinitely.
Hamid Mir has been sent on a few days leave. According to sources, there is intense pressure on Geo News to fire Hamid Mir.
It is to be noted that Hamid Mir also said that this is not new for him.
“I am ready for any kind of outcome at this time and I am ready to go to any extent because they are threatening my family,” he added.
