Les McKeown, A Scottish teenager idol pop-rock band in the 1970s. The Bay City Rollers are acknowledged for their global reputation.

They have been referred to as the “tartan teenager sensations from Edinburgh”.

Les McKeown, led the Bay City Rollers in his most successful period. According to his family members he “died suddenly at home”. There is no cause of death that has yet been announced.

Their hits “Shang-A-Lang,” “Bye, Bye, Baby,” and “Give a Little Love” earned them young fans in Britain, the United States and beyond. He is survived by his wife, Pico Keiko, and his son, Joby. He first met his wife in 1978.
