Reacting to the revelations, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that he was deeply concerned over the report, adding that,
“the immoral policies of the Modi government have dangerously polarized India and the region.”
Federal Minister for Human Rights Shirin Mazari said in a tweet,
“The Indian government has been identified as one of the dictatorial regimes spying through the Israeli NSO Pegasus.”
“The second part reveals that the Modi government is monitoring its ministers. The NSO apparently seeks approval from the Israeli government for the sale and the contacts are clear,” she said.
